After Elvis Presley was drafted into the army in 1958, he was unable to make any new film appearances for two years. His manager and record company had to get creative and collected various singles from the period 1954 to 1956 and released many of these songs on 12" for the first time. A great idea, as many of the 7" versions were hard to find outside of the southern United States. The result was an amazing overview, titled "For LP Fans Only", of some of Elvis' best moments of the 1950s with songs like "That's All Right" and "You're A Heartbreaker".
